TREATMENT PROCESS
STEP 1
IN-CLINIC TREATMENT
Your clinician applies the Cosmelan® depigmenting mask in clinic. The mask remains on the skin for several hours before being removed at home according to your practitioner’s instructions.
STEP 2
HOME CARE PHASE
Approximately 7 days later, you’ll begin your prescribed home care program using professional-strength products designed to continue the depigmentation process and support skin recovery.
STEP 3
MAINTENANCE & PROTECTION
Consistency is essential. Daily SPF and ongoing skin maintenance help protect your results and reduce recurrence of pigmentation.
POST TREATMENT & RECOVERY
Following treatment, it is common to experience redness, tightening of skin, dryness, flaking and peeling and mild sensitivity.
These effects are temporary and form part of the skin renewal process. Most visible peeling occurs within the first 1–2 weeks. Individual recovery varies depending on skin type and treatment intensity.
