How do I know which treatment is for me?
Artevo offers a health-practitioner-led consultation, which means you will receive a comprehensive skin assessment from a qualified health practitioner. The outcome of this consultation will be tailored specifically to your needs, and will include a recommendation of the most appropriate treatment for you. Depending on the outcome of our consultation, this may or may not lead to provision of a script.
What areas of concern do you treat?
Artevo Aesthetics specialises in treating a wide range of skin concerns. Our team of experienced nurses and therapists can help you achieve your best skin with a personalised treatment plan that meets your individual needs.
I have a special occasion coming up - how far in advance should I book?
We would be delighted to support your skin journey ahead of any special event. Depending on your desired results, a bespoke treatment plan may require some forward planning.
As a guide, we suggest visiting us at least 4–6 months prior to your occasion—or 6+ months in advance for weddings or more comprehensive skin goals.
Should I arrive earlier to my appointment?
To help us stay on time and provide you with a calm, seamless experience, we invite you to arrive 10–15 minutes early. This allows time to settle into our space, complete any required forms, and enjoy a moment of relaxation before your treatment begins.
What’s the difference between fine lines and wrinkles and volume loss?
While often grouped together, fine lines, wrinkles, and volume loss are distinct signs of ageing. Fine lines are superficial creases that appear on the surface of the skin, often due to repetitive movement and dehydration. Wrinkles tend to run deeper and are usually caused by a combination of movement, collagen loss, and skin thinning over time. Volume loss, on the other hand, refers to a reduction in the underlying fat, bone density, and skin elasticity—leading to sagging, hollowing, or a tired appearance. At Artevo Aesthetics, we offer tailored solutions to address each concern with precision and care.
How should I care for my skin in-between treatments?
In-clinic treatments are just one part of your skin health journey. A personalised at-home skincare routine is key to maintaining and enhancing your results. Your Nurse or Doctor will work with you to select the right regimen—and you can always revisit our online store to restock your essentials.
Do I need to remove makeup before my appointment?
Yes, we kindly ask that you arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. Many of our treatments—particularly lasers and those requiring numbing cream—require bare skin for optimal results and safety. This helps us start your appointment on time and deliver the highest standard of care.
What happens during a consultation?
During a consultation, we will conduct a skin assessment to determine your skin’s condition and needs. We will also discuss your goals for treatment and provide you with recommendations on the best products and treatments to help you achieve them. We will work with you to create a personalised skincare regime that is tailored to your individual needs.
